I founded Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Society, Turkey in 2009 in order to enhance both academic awareness and interactions among physicians and also to increase patient awareness in Turkey. With the power of the association, we organize many scientific courses, seminars, webinars and patient events in the field of endometriosis every year. I also contributed to the latest ESHRE, 2022 Endometriosis Guideline under the ‘pain section’.
Apart from these activites, with the support of endometriosis experts from the Turkish Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Society and under my supervision and along with the collaboration of several centers around Turkey we have initiated ‘Turkish Endometriosis- Adenomyosis BioBank’ project. The aim of the biobank project is to recruit endometriosis and adenomyosis patients and store their blood and serum samples which will be used in studies in the future.
