PhD, MSc in Psychology Karina Ejgaard Hansen (female) is specialized in psychological interventions for symptom management in endometriosis.
Her current research focuses on the effects of mindfulness-based self-help interventions on pain experience and overall quality of life in endometriosis. Previous research has been focused on the prevalence of visceral symptoms in endometriosis and how the disease influences work ability.
KEH has been responsible for the psychometric validation of the Danish version of endometriosis specific quality of life questionnaire EHP-30. Karina is part of the Danish Endometriosis Research Group. ORCID ID 0000-0003-0243-7399.
