Presenting Horace Roman, who we are delighted to count as one of our FEMaLe project advisers.
First a little about Horace
Horace Roman is an endometriosis surgeon at the IFEMEndo, CLINIQUE TIVOLI DUCOS, Bordeaux, France, and Honorary Professor at @Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark.
His practice and clinical research focus on the surgical management of patients with deep endometriosis. He has managed more than 1,400 patients with deep rectosigmoid endometriosis, 350 with urinary tract nodules, 150 with nodules of sacral plexus and sciatic nerves, and 80 with lesions of the diaphragm.
He performed the ENDORE randomized trial comparing radical and conservative surgery for colorectal endometriosis and has published 200 scientific articles in endometriosis field (2004-2021). He is member of the boards of the European Endometriosis League and World Endometriosis Society, and responsible for the Surgical Task Force of the Society of Endometriosis and Uterine Disorders.
